Shinjuku 2016

Ma ka lā mua o kēia makahiki, ua huakaʻi hele akula mākou o ka ʻohana i Shinjuku, Iāpana. Ua kipa mākou i nā wahi like ʻole e laʻa me ka mauna ʻo Fuji uhi ʻia e ka hau, nā puʻulu hale kūʻai ma Asakusa, ka mākeke iʻa kaulana ʻo Tsukiji, a me ke kaona kū i ke ao kahiko o Iāpana ʻo ia hoʻi ʻo Kawagoe. He leʻaleʻa wale.

On the first day of this year, my family and I traveled to Shinjuku, Japan. We visited many various places such as Mt. Fuji covered with snow, the various vendors at Asakusa, the famous fish market of Tsukiji, and the old town of Kawagoe. Simply fun.

He Au Hou: A New Beginning

No ka hoʻomaka ʻana i ka makahiki ʻekolu o koʻu paʻi kiʻi ʻana, ua manaʻo ihola wau, e haku hou paha i kēia punaewele i mea e holomua ai kēia ʻoihana e hauʻoli ai wau. ʻOiai he mea weliweli nō ka hoʻomaka hou ʻana, he waiwai nō ia kekahi. "ʻO nā mea i hala aku nei, ua hala." ʻO ia kekahi mea aʻu e hoʻomanaʻo mau ai. Mahalo nō wau i nā haʻawina a pau i aʻo ʻia maila ma kēia mau makahiki he ʻelua i hala aku. I kēia wā e holo nei, he holomua mai koe. E haele mai ma kēia huakaʻi aʻu e hoʻomaka nei.

To start the third year of my photography, I thought, perhaps, to create a new website to further this business that brings me great joy. Although starting over can be scary, it can also be very rewarding. "What is in the past is in the past." This is something that I will always remember. I am truly thankful for all the lessons that were taught to me in these first two years of photography. Now, all there is left to do is move forward. Join me on this journey on which I am about to embark.
